Pre-Paid SIM Codes Every Pakistani Mobile User Needs To Know

A total of 5 main mobile networks are providing their services in Pakistan including Mobilink, Warid, Zong, Ufone, and Telenor and all networks have more or less followers. Every network has some useful Codes for their customers so that they can easily get their desired information, such as balance inquiry, balance sharing or checking the minutes, MBs or SMS.

Here we will describe some Pre-Paid SIM codes for every network used in Pakistan.

To Check Internet MBs Status:

Mobilink:         *114*1*2#

Warid:             *200*4#

Zong:               *102# (for summary) or *102*1# (for details)

Ufone:              *706#

Telenor:           *999#

To Check Minutes Status:

Mobilink:         *110#

Warid:             *200#

Zong:               Send "P" to 102

Ufone:              *707#

Telenor:           *222#

To Check Balance:

Mobilink:         *111#

Warid:             *100#

Zong:               *222#

Ufone:              *124#

Telenor:           *444#

To Check SMS Status:

Mobilink:         *101*2#

Warid:             *200#

To Share Balance:

Warid:

Send "B(space)(Recipient Number)(space)(Amount)" to 2424

Example (to share Rs. 50):  Send B 03211234567 50 to 2424

Zong:

Send (Recipient Number).(Amount) to 999

Example (to share Rs. 50):  Send 03141234567.50 to 999

Ufone:

Send "(Recipient Number)U2U(Amount)" to 828

Example (to share Rs. 50):  Send 03301234567U2U50 to 828

Telenor:

*1*1*(Recipient Number)*Amount#

Example (to share Rs. 50):  *1*1*923401234567*50#

To Know Your Own SIM Number:

Insert the SIM (whom number you want to know) in mobile phone, and apply the following respective codes.

Mobilink:

Dial *99#

Warid:

SMS "MYNO" or "MYNUMBER" to 6061

Zong:

Dial *100*1#. Then you will be asked to enter your other mobile number on which you can receive a message. That message to other number will have your desired Zong number

Ufone:

Dial *780*3#

Telenor:

Send an empty SMS to 7421. 

(Note: Some mobiles do not support sending an empty message, in which case you can send "Y" to 4121).
